De Dee's Dairy
This Niagara Falls establishment is popular with the locals and known for its generous portions and wide-variety of tasty treats. De Dee's Dairy has been operating its family-run ice cream shop in the Cataract City for nearly 30 years. You must call-ahead to place your order.
Twist o' the Mist (Opening soon!)
Within walking distance to the brink of the Falls, Twist o' the Mist offers a variety of hard and soft serve ice cream. This hot spot is hard to miss - the stand looks like a giant ice cream cone!

Celebrating over 80 years, Hibbard's is known for its creamy homemade custard, including flavors such as black raspberry and pistachio. Nestled in the historic Village of Lewiston, Hibbard's is within walking distance to Artpark, several boutique shops, restaurants and coffee shops. New this year: a Custard Club Sandwich, made with freshly-baked cookies from The Village Bake Shoppe, and Hibbard Hurricanes—there's a storm of flavor in every cup!
Hoover's Restaurant and Dairy Store
Cool off, sit back and relax at Hoover's Dairy Store in the Hamlet of Sanborn. This 100-year-old farm and family-run milk producing operation has paired its long-standing tradition and beautiful country vistas, with a dairy store and ice cream parlor, offering one of Niagara Falls USA's best selection of the sweet summertime treat.
Platter's Chocolate Factory
In 1938, Carl Platter invented his trademark orange flavored chocolate in the basement of his North Tonawanda home. These days, Platter's is known not only for its traditional chocolates and sponge candies, it has expanded its offerings to include homemade orange custard and orange hot fudge, along with more than 20 flavors of ice cream.
Lake Effect Ice Cream
Specializing in unique, high-quality, hand-crafted flavors, Lake Effect's super premium ice cream is anything but ordinary. With flavors like Frozen Hot Chocolate and Cinnamon Toast, each container is crafted with pride and lots of love.

Offering a variety of ice cream flavors, custard and Italian ice, this picturesque location is the perfect stop while exploring the quaint village of Lewiston. If you're in the mood for lunch or dinner, the historic coal silo next door known as The Silo Restaurant, serves a full menu of hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches and salads.
