It has a way of making people feel humble; it entreats its guests to take a step back from the normality and busyness of life; even just for a second, to take in the beauty and awe inspiring gift of nature - - our earth's greatest accomplishment.
That's why each year Niagara Falls attracts millions of visitors from all over the planet; every one visiting for the same reason: to see the beauty of the falls and experience first-hand, the power of this Wonder of the World. However everyone leaves with a unique experience, a different feeling of what the falls means to them. I decided to venture out into Niagara Falls State Park and meet some of the tourists of Niagara Falls USA.
The first tourists I came across in my search for a great Niagara Falls experience was couple Urusla and Nigel (right). Hailing from Sydney, Australia they told me, "We were in America and we couldn't not come to Niagara Falls. It's one of those things you gotta see, and we absolutely love it."
As I continued on I met more and more tourists all eager to share their hometowns and their experience so far.
Jimmy, Christine, Hanny, Boan, Justin, Joy, Jeremy, and Jacob, (left) were visiting Niagara Falls for the first time on their family vacation from Pennsylvania. "It's our family vacation, and we really do love it so far," Jimmy said.
Seok Cheol Na, Sunkyun Kin and Minsle Jang (below right) from South Korea, who, after some slight communication issues, laughed and told me that during their seven-day trip, Niagara Falls had been excellent, and surpassed their expectations.
Bawan and his son (below left), were visiting from New Jersey. They were doing the "classic Niagara Falls family vacation" and "loving it."
I took this photo of four young men Rafi Kahn, Saem Ahmed, Reshleez, and Shah, from Bangladesh (below) only after they profusely promised they wouldn't fall off the railing. (They didn't.)
I met Cynthia and Jamie Biggs, and their sons Dylan and Justin Garner (below), just outside the Niagara USA Official Visitor Center (10 Rainbow Blvd., Niagara Falls, NY 14303) on my way back. They had just arrived from North Carolina and couldn't wait to see Niagara Falls for the first time.
