First Day Hike
Jan 1, 2026
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Overview
Join a Park Naturalist on a leisurely stroll through Wilson Tuscarora State Park and start the new year off right. The trail can be muddy, so boots/hiking shoes are recommended, as is water. The area we will be hiking will consist of old-growth forests and the 12-mile creek wetland. The terrain is mostly level with limited, slight rises in the trail, and little to no obstacles. There will be break points, but not many spots to sit along the way. Meet at Marina Lot, and the hike is 1.5 miles long. Registration required.
