Learn about wine from our incredible winemaking team, Ryan Sidoti and Kurt Guba. Some of the most frequently asked questions in the tasting room revolve around the ageing capacity of wine. While most wines produced are not intended to be aged, or even survive a weekend, making that determination can be a struggle for a consumer.
This month we explore structural components that make wines capable of, not only standing the test of time, but improving over time. We will be tasting some young products and determining their ageability; some old products that may or may not have aged well; and some older, truly venerable wines from our own collection.
