The Art of Suffrage: Struggle, Sacrifice, and Success Exhibit
The 19th Amendment is turning 100 years old in 2020. This exhibit will show the struggle, sacrifice and success of the US Suffrage Movement. The core of the exhibit will be Mary Brennan-Taylor's personal collection of suffrage memorabilia collected over the past 40 years. This project is a public service, a history lesson and an object lesson in the importance of women's right to vote. Opening Reception will be held on February 9th, 2-5pm. Taylor Theater Author Talks will be held on February 28th, 7pm (Mary Walton) and March 7th, 4pm (Tina Cassidy). Gallery Hours: Mon., - Fri., 12-5pm | Sun., 2-5pm.
