The History Center’s Children’s Summer Youth Program

Niagara History Center kicks off their Kids’ Summer History Program. Each weekly program includes hands-on activities, craft materials, field trips and an afternoon snack. Children should plan to bring a lunch. Advance registration is necessary. -07/11: Toys and Games Through the Ages - Learn about the origin of toys and games throughout history. (Ages 7-12)
-07/18: Don’t Throw That Out! - Learn how different cultures from various time periods used and reused materials to create or repair items that they needed.
-07/25: Revolutionary War Traitors and Spies - Learn how spies and traitors helped both sides of the conflict during the Revolutionary War.
-08/01: Natural History in Your Own Backyard - Learn about the plants, animals, rocks and fossils that exist in the backyards and fields of Niagara County.
