Yoga in the Gardens

Enjoy an outdoor yoga class in the Kenan Gardens led by Peaceful Waters Yoga. This slow-paced Hatha yoga class is appropriate for beginners and experienced yogis, using language that is easy to follow. Instruction blends postures to increase flexibility, balance, and strength, while simultaneously calming the nervous system. The class will begin with breath awareness, move into the physical practice, and conclude with deep relaxation. Check-in starts at 5:30pm, class starts promptly at 6pm. Indoor location is available in the case of inclement weather! Please bring your own yoga mat. Online advance registration is preferred. Social Distancing Guidelines will be followed! Park behind or adjacent to the Taylor Theater and Kenan Montessori Buildings, and enter the gardens towards the Kenan Herb Club Shed.
