Day 1:
Start your tour at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum where you can step back in time as you climb on board the 1916 carousel featuring 36 hand carved horses and over 580 lights. It rotates at approximately 6.5 revolutions per minute and was intended as a thrill ride for adults (mild by today's standards!)
Next, stop by the Erie Canal Discovery Center. A state-of-the-art interpretive center for the Erie Canal, and learn the role that Lockport, NY played in the history of the Erie Canal.
Enjoy a unique narrated two-hour cruise past many of the historic sights and five original locks. Cruise includes being raised and lowered 50 feet in the only double set of locks on the Erie Canal. While at the Lockport Locks & Erie Canal Cruises enjoy a leisurely lunch canal side.
Before leaving Lockport, stroll across the street to the Market Street Art Studios to view local artists working in studios and creating everything from jewelry, paintings to sculptures.
After dine in one of the many local Niagara Falls restaurants!

Next it's off to ride on the world-famous Maid of the Mist, a must-do, unique experience that's only available in America!
