Explore Niagara Falls State Park this Winter

It’s no “polar vortex,” but winter is here in Niagara Falls USA.

With low temperatures and a few flurries in the forecast, extra layers are a must when exploring the region - especially if a visit to Niagara Falls State Park is on your itinerary.

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, there is ample time to experience the Falls in all 4 seasons. With a fresh coat of snow on the ground, and ice-covered trees crackling in the breeze, this winter wonderland overwhelms the senses. If you can still feel your fingers and toes, take a walk onto the Observation Tower, which offers dramatic views of all three Falls and the icy river below. Or visit at night and enjoy the  of the Falls and fireworks on Friday evenings.

If you crave adventure and the great outdoors, register for a  offered by the Niagara Region Interpretive Programs Office. All pre-scheduled programs are FREE and intended for individuals and families.
