Spring and summer offer warm weather, blossoming gardens and abundant sunshine. And lucky for us, we’re surrounded by plenty of water. From standing on the Hurricane Deck on the Cave of the Winds to riding Class V rapids on a high-speed jet boat, you’ll cool off (and probably need a change of clothes, too)! In the colorful, long afternoons of autumn, you can stroll through the crunching leaves and enjoy the vibrant, picturesque scenery. Leaf peepers can view peak colors mid-October. In winter, temperatures drop and the region is transformed into a winter wonderland, as ice and snow paint every surface with glittering radiance. Extra layers and cold-weather accessories are a must!
