All of Jacolatte's products are handmade in small batches for optimum freshness and just by talking with passionate chocolatier and owner and Niagara County native Amber Haick, customers can find the right gift for any event or anyone in their life who loves chocolate. They also have a chocolate of month club . . . the perfect gift for the chocolate lover in your life this holiday season.
Walk into Jacolatte's and be greeted with a case full of handmade truffles, chocolate covered apples and more unique treats, like their chocolate covered jalapeos that offer a little heat but of course, they are sweet.
Find shelves filled with a Western New York favorite - - sponge candy, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered Oreos and various types of nut/chocolate combinations. One of Jacolatte's signature items is their English toffee. Customers say it is amazing and after sampling it, I have to agree. It's creamy, delicious and dangerous for your diet. Also available in-store are local favorites, M.Hibbard's Ice Cream and Frozen Custard and Johnny Ryan products.
Haick started Jacolatte this year through the online store Etsy and quickly grew the business into it's new retail space and commercial kitchen. In addition to the retail business, Jacolatte takes special orders for weddings, showers, party favors and corporate events. Gift baskets and other special orders are available.
Jacolatte's treats not only taste great but they are also made with high quality ingredients that you can't find at many other stores. All of their chocolate is ethically traded, gluten and GMO free. They use Couverture chocolate, a high quality chocolate that contains extra cocoa butter resulting in a creamy mellow flavor, in all of their products.
Jacolatte is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or anytime at jacolatte.com. Jacolatte offers customized gift baskets for the holidays and special events.
