Old Fort Niagara's 300th Birthday Celebration

Overview
Old Fort Niagara celebrates 300 years with three days of special programs. Friday's school programs will engage students in the early history of the Niagara Region. Saturday's program will feature the rededication of the 300-year-old French Castle, recreation of the arrival of French forces who built the building aboard a sailing vessel, early 18th century building trades demonstrations, a parade of regimental flags and a variety of living history programs. Sunday will conclude the event with special tours of the French Castle.
