USA250: Celebrating the American Vision
Jan 20, 2026 – Dec 15, 2026
Overview
As the nation marks its 250th anniversary, USA250: Celebrating the American Vision invites audiences to reflect on the ideas, struggles, and aspirations that have shaped the United States. The “American Vision” has never been a single, fixed concept. It encompasses the founding ideals of liberty and democracy, the diverse voices and cultures that have defined the nation’s identity, and the creative expressions that continue to chart its future.
Through selected works from the permanent collection, we see how generations of artists have interpreted what America means—sometimes celebratory, sometimes critical, always dynamic. This exhibition highlights American artworks that speak to resilience, innovation, and the ongoing pursuit of a more perfect union. Together, these works tell a story not just of where we have been, but of what we imagine for the road ahead.
