Niagara Falls, NY—Destination Niagara USA is set to host a group of top outdoor media professionals for the Greater Niagara Spring Outdoor Media event, May 1-6. This popular event has been held for over two decades, and highlights the fisheries of Lake Erie, the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. Anglers will target species including smallmouth bass, walleye, trout, and salmon using a variety of fishing methods.
This year’s media participants include Game & Fish, Bassmaster Magazine, Great Lakes Angler, and Field & Stream Magazine, along with TV network, The Outdoor Channel. In addition, some of the most prominent outdoor gear manufacturers will be on-site for the weeklong event: Mossy Oak, Flambeau, Strike King, Lew’s, Garmin, Rapid Fishing Solutions, Seaguar Line, and Power Pole. These companies have committed to sponsoring the fishing excursions, while providing access to their products for a “reel” hands-on experience.
