Some of the Niagara USA nail polish colors include "Kiss in the Mist," "Rainbow Romance" and "Grape Expectations." Free mini manicure treatments (nail polish removal and painting), featuring all nine of the product line's colors, will be available at the event. Attendees will also have the opportunity to make a suggested $5 donation to the YWCA of the Tonawandas.
"We thought of the idea for a Niagara USA nail polish line based on the magnificent natural beauty of the Niagara region. We're very pleased we could help promote this line which highlights the breathtaking colors of Niagara USA to life through Gridlock Lacquer's products," said Michelle Blackley, communications manager, NTCC. "The event is timed perfectly with the arrival of 40 Chinese beauty pageant contestants, brought to us by I LOVE NY; and we will be hosting national beauty bloggers. Both groups will experience attractions and restaurants that actually influenced the line while they are here."
"I was inspired to create the line based on the Niagara region's strong sense of place," said Lisa Menchetti, owner of Gridlock Lacquer. "This line originated from people who are committed to their city and have a personal investment in its success. Cities like Niagara Falls, as with much of the Rustbelt, have seen dramatic peaks and valleys. Hopefully, showcasing the positives in a conversation that is often so negative, will give locals and tourists alike a taste of what makes Niagara Falls USA, so special."
