Nominations Open for 3rd Annual Destination Niagara USA Tourism Employee Spotlight Awards
Niagara Falls, NY — Destination Niagara USA, the destination marketing organization for Niagara County, is seeking nominations for the third annual Tourism Employee Spotlight Awards. In 2023, nearly 16,000 people were employed in travel and tourism in Niagara County, and more than $1 billion was spent by travelers in the destination, making frontline employees in the hospitality and tourism industry vital to the regional economy.
The award is intended to recognize frontline employees who go above and beyond the everyday scope of their responsibilities in a lodging, restaurant, attraction, or other hospitality-related position.
Nominations are now open for the Tourism Employee Spotlight Awards and will be accepted through Monday, April 7, 2025. A $500 Visa gift card will be presented to seven winners in conjunction with National Travel and Tourism Week, which will be celebrated May 4-10, 2025.
“The contributions of our hospitality and tourism employees are the backbone of Niagara County’s thriving tourism industry,” says John Percy, President and CEO of Destination Niagara USA. “Their dedication and exceptional service create memorable experiences for visitors, and we are proud to honor their hard work with these awards.”
