2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Bring your furry friend on this casual walk through the new and old growth woods at DeVeaux while discovering the park’s history and what critters might call this park home.
April 26: From Olmsted to Gorgeview

10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Take a walk around Goat Island on his 204th birthday to learn about landscape architect Fredrick Law Omstead and how Niagara Falls State Park has changed since his initial vision.

5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Before trees’ leaf out and as the weather warms, our spring ephemerals begin to bloom! Join an educator in search of the earliest of the short-blooming flowers in the woods of Wilson Tuscarora State Park.

4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. Enjoy patches of unique and colorful spring ephemerals along the wetlands of 12-mile creek.
May 12: A DeVeaux Stroll

5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Take a slow stroll around DeVeaux Woods State Park and learn more about its namesake, Judge Samuel DeVeaux, on his 237th birthday!
May 15: Goat Island Walk

5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Join an educator on a walk around Goat Island to experience all the beauty of Niagara Falls. Dogs are welcome. All dogs must be up to date on immunizations and leashed.
May 17: Niagara Gorge Industries

12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. Join a park naturalist on a short, but challenging loop hike through one of the Niagara Gorge’s lesser-traveled trails, going through what used to be old industry!
May 22: Evening Hike Through History

5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Join educators on a walk throughout the park to discuss the history of Niagara Falls and notable events that have taken place around the area.
May 23: Scenic Overlook Hike

10:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Take a walk with an educator into the Niagara Gorge to take in the beautiful views and learn a little about the natural and local history of the area.
May 24: Whirlpool-Devil's Hole Gorge Loop

10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Join a park naturalist and hike from gorge rim to river level on a challenging loop from Whirlpool to Devil’s Hole and back.
May 25: A Gorge-ous Hike
Niagara Falls State Park, 332 Prospect St., Niagara Falls
9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Join a park naturalist for a guided hike along the Niagara River. Patrons will walk along the upper and lower trails to experience the beautiful Niagara Gorge.
