Visit with pride the places that make Niagara USA truly unique
Start your tour at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum where you can step back in time as you climb on board the 1916 carousel featuring 36 hand carved horses and over 580 lights. It rotates at approximately 6.5 revolutions per minute and was intended as a thrill ride for adults (mild by today's standards!).
Next, stop by the Erie Canal Discovery Center. A state-of-the-art interpretive center for the Erie Canal, and learn the role that Lockport, NY played in the history of the Erie Canal.
Enjoy a unique narrated 2-hour cruise past many of the historic sights and five original locks. Cruise includes being raised and lowered 50 feet in the only double set of locks on the Erie Canal. While at the Lockport Locks & Erie Canal Cruises enjoy a leisurely lunch canal side.
Before leaving Lockport, stroll across the street to the Market Street Art Center to view local artists working in studios and creating everything from jewelry, paintings to sculptures.
After dining in one of the many local Niagara Falls restaurants experience the Native American culture in music and dance at Smokin Joes Native Center.
Traveling north of Niagara you will find Old Fort Niagara where American history comes alive at the oldest fortress on the Great Lakes. Be sure to see the original flag that flew over the fort in 1812.
No trip to Niagara USA would be complete without a stop at Niagara Falls State Park. The oldest state park in the US features the unique Cave of the Winds Tour which takes you up close to the thundering Bridal Veil Falls.
Next it's off to ride on the world-famous Maid of the Mist, a must-do, unique experience that's only available in America!
To complete your tour, stop by the Made in America Store where you can find gifts and souvenirs that are truly made in the USA!
