Niagara Falls, NY — Destination Niagara USA recently added two new team members to their staff, as the demand for group travel and conventions in Niagara Falls USA continues to rise. Holly Avino, Travel Trade Sales Manager and Courtney Paterson, Convention Sales Manager are the latest hires for the destination marketing organization (DMO).
Avino has previous experience with Destination Niagara USA, serving as a Visitor Service Representative and then Sales Coordinator until August of 2020. In her position as Travel Trade Sales manager, Avino will develop and promote group leisure visitation to Niagara Falls USA. She has already attended several tradeshows to promote Niagara Falls USA and assisted with familiarization tours for tour operators exploring the destination.
New to the travel and tourism industry, Paterson will serve as the Convention Sales Manager. Prior to joining the team at Destination Niagara USA, she was the Logistics and Show Service Coordinator for Hadley Exhibits, Incorporated of Buffalo. In her new role, Paterson will prospect and sell specialty meetings in Niagara County, as well as provide support service to all booked conventions and meetings.
