This captivating documentary showcases the relentless efforts of scientists in both the United States and Canada to uncover and mitigate the cause of a devastating environmental crisis — vanishing populations of the most prized fish in the Great Lakes.
The Fish Thief: A Great Lakes Mystery delves into the battle to protect the Great Lakes from invasive species. Narrated by Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons, the film brings together breathtaking visuals and expert insights to reveal the ecological stakes of preserving the world’s largest freshwater ecosystem.

• 7:30-8pm – Q&A with film director Lindsey Haskin, Great Lakes Fishery Commission Advisor Jennifer Nalbone, and a representative from Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper.
