Get to Know the 2025 Greater Niagara Fishing Expo

Save the date: the Greater Niagara Fishing Expo returns in 2025.

Held at the Niagara Falls Convention Center, the Greater Niagara Fishing Expo “The Teaching Fishing Show,” returns February 13 through 16, 2025. There will be a variety of educational seminars for kids and adults of all levels of experience. These seminars will cover a variety of fishing topics as well as kayaking, kids fishing/outdoors and more. Check out the Expo’s website for a list of seminars and exhibitors.

With nearly 200 exhibitors, the Expo is the largest freshwater fishing expo in New York, as well as one of the largest in the Great Lakes region. Whether you hook bass and walleye or salmon and trout, and whether you fly fish, kayak fish, etc., there is something of interest for every type of angler. It’s a perfect remedy for a case of cabin fever! Tickets can be purchased online, or in-person at the Expo.

This multi-species fishing show consists of many well-known fishing manufacturers, local and regional fishing retailers, local fishing guides and outfitters, the best local fishing boat dealers, kayak fishing watercraft, marine electronics, local fishing clubs and much more.

Since the Expo is built around the idea of “teaching fishing,” expect a wide-ranging roster of seminars from a group of fishing experts. No matter your level of experience or areas of interest, you’ll find a way to expand your fishing knowledge. Even brand-new anglers, young or old, will find classes tailored to their needs.

Hoping to inspire the next generation of anglers, the Expo is free to all children 12 and under with a paying adult (limit 2 children per adult).

The Expo is centrally located within one of the most diverse and spectacular freshwater sport fisheries on the planet. The Niagara River, Lake Ontario and Lake Erie are all close by for salmon, trout, bass, walleye, muskellunge and so much more.
