12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Overview
Power and Revolution: An Exhibit on the History of Power in Niagara is an exhibit at Niagara Falls State Park marking three anniversaries converging in 2026, including the 250th anniversary of American independence, the 130th anniversary of the first large-scale alternating current transmission from Niagara Falls in 1896, and the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Schoellkopf Power Station collapse. The exhibit traces the history and use of power and how Niagara has shaped that story.
The exhibit runs from Memorial Day through the end of October, 7 days a week, 12pm-4pm in the Education Building at Niagara Falls State Park next to the Welcome Center. It is free to visit.
