Newfane Apple Blossom Festival

Lewiston Smelt Festival
May 22, 2026. One of Lewiston's most abundant natural resources is celebrated at this annual event: Smelt Fest! At this festival, smelt, a type of small fish, are deep-fried, resembling "fries with eyes." Even if you don't like fish, there's plenty of other food, drinks, and live music to enjoy at the Griffon Brewery and Gastropub, plus stunning views of the scenic Niagara River.

Memorial Day Weekend Street Festival
May 22-25, 2026. Kick off the start of summer at Old Falls Street's Memorial Day Weekend Festival! From Friday through Monday, play backyard board games, enjoy food trucks and vendors, and listen to live music from a variety of local bands and musicians.
Soldiers Through the Ages
May 23-24, 2026. This annual event at Old Fort Niagara is a timeline of military history that traces the development of uniforms, weaponry, rations, and camp life from medieval times through the present.
