Fatima Shrine Festival of Lights
November 18, 2023-January 6, 2024
Every year from the Saturday before Thanksgiving to the Epiphany (January 6), the quaint town of Lewiston glows for its Fatima Shrine Festival of Lights. The magically ambient event features a labyrinth of glowing displays, all designed by the shrine’s rector and created by the shrine’s maintenance team. After taking a walk through its twinkling exhibits, climb to the top of the Basilica — decorated with a life-size nativity scene and festooned in Christmas foliage — for an angel’s view of the fifteen acres of holiday lights.
Jingle Falls USA
November 24-26, 2023
Jingle Falls USA is the highlight of the holiday season in downtown Niagara Falls. Make merry memories on Old Falls Street with a flurry of outdoor activities, including a tree lighting, live music, train rides, live reindeer, horse and carriage rides, appearances from Santa and more! Once your cheeks are rosy, warm up in the Niagara Falls Convention Center and get some of your holiday shopping done at the LiveNF Makers Market. Lewiston Christmas Walk Weekend
November 30-December 3, 2023
The Village of Lewiston Christmas Walk takes place in this charming historic town just north of the Falls. The weekend festivities kick off on Thursday with a holiday market at Brickyard Brewing Company, followed by the village tree lighting on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, enjoy beautiful storefronts and window displays, photo opportunities at the Lewiston wreath, and more. This event is a cozy throwback to Christmas of yore, ending with a Christmas lights parade down Center Street on Sunday evening.
Festival of Trees
Month of December
Wander through the Niagara Power Vista and view a dazzling display of artificial evergreen trees, adorned with energy efficient lights as part of this annual event. The trees are decorated for the season by area non-profit groups and are on display all month. In addition to tree viewing, guests are invited to enjoy the all-new state-of-the-art exhibits at the Niagara Power Vista!
Light Up Newfane Parade
December 1, 2023
Looking for some festive fun for the whole family? Spend your Friday night on Main Street in Newfane! Begin your evening by watching the annual holiday parade, then warm up with cookies and hot chocolate before visiting Santa. After your meet and greet with The Man, take a carriage ride or check out the Candy Cane Craft Show. Finally, top off the night by popping in to the Newfane Community Center and exploring the Snowflake Village, along with a variety of local vendors.
Festival of Slice
December 9, 2023
It’s back, and cheesier than ever. As part of the finale of Jingle Falls festivities, the Festival of Slice will take place on Saturday, December 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the Niagara Falls Convention Center. Admission is $10, with pizza tickets available at the door for $1 each. Come hungry to sample both classic cheese slices and specialty slices, and be sure to vote on your favorite slice! There will also be live music and beverages available for purchase.
