The Whirlpool area of Niagara Falls State Park is one of Western New York’s most scenic natural features. Here, the Niagara River bends sharply, creating a spectacular whirlpool and powerful Class VI rapids. The area offers free parking, multiple trailheads, and access to the nearby Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center.
