Overview
Enjoy the first day of the New Year with your dog at Niagara Falls State Park! Take a leisurely walk from Prospect to Terrapin Point and take in the extraordinary views of all three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls. Participants should dress for the weather, as it can be windy and misty at the Falls. Cold temperatures can result in some icy conditions. All trails are paved and mostly level. You do not need to have a dog to participate. All dogs must be on a non-retractable leash not longer than 6 feet. Meet at the Welcome Center, and the hike is 1.5 miles long. Registration required.
