The Niagara Falls USA Discovery Pass is no longer offered. Attraction tickets can be purchased individually in person, and all tickets are general admission.

Established in 1885, Niagara Falls State Park is the oldest state park in the United States. Designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, the park was created to preserve public access to the Falls while protecting its extraordinary natural landscape. Today, that vision lives on through thoughtfully enhanced visitor offerings, expanded trail connections, and iconic attractions that invite guests to discover more than just the brink of the Falls.

Begin your visit at the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Welcome Center, where the Voices of the Falls exhibits bring the story of Niagara to life through immersive storytelling and interactive displays exploring the natural history and geology of the Falls, the innovations that powered the region, Indigenous perspectives, and the cultural impact of Niagara Falls. Visitors can also purchase tickets for Above the Roar, an immersive virtual reality experience offering unique perspectives of the Falls, Niagara Gorge, and the waters below. The Welcome Center also features Tastes of Niagara Café, where visitors can enjoy Western New York favorites, including Sahlen’s hot dogs and Italian sausage served on a Costanzo’s roll, along with offerings from DiCamillo Bakery and other Taste NY vendors. The gift shop offers Niagara Falls-themed apparel, artwork, stuffed animals, Oxford Pennants, and other souvenirs.

Then, get closer to the Falls aboard the Maid of the Mist boat tour, sailing along the base of the Falls and into the mist. Step onto the Hurricane Deck at Cave of the Winds and feel the mist and spray as you experience the Falls up close. Take in panoramic views of all three waterfalls from the Observation Tower or get closer to the American Falls along the Cataract Stairs & Overlook. Explore the park’s scenic trails aboard the Niagara Scenic Trolley or enjoy a meal with a view at Top of the Falls Restaurant, overlooking the Horseshoe Falls. Visitors can also discover more about the region’s natural and cultural history at the Education Building. As day turns to night, watch Niagara Falls transform into an array of colors during the nightly illumination, with seasonal fireworks displays offering an unforgettable way to experience the Falls after dark.

At Prospect Point, visitors can get close to the American Falls and take in one of the park’s most iconic views, where the roar of rushing water and the sheer power of the Falls create an unforgettable experience.

Explore Goat Island, a central part of the Niagara Falls State Park experience, where pathways lead visitors through scenic landscapes and along the Niagara River to some of the park’s most memorable viewpoints. Discover Luna Island for a unique perspective between the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, where visitors can often spot vibrant rainbows and look down toward the decks of Cave of the Winds below. Continue to Terrapin Point for a dramatic view of Horseshoe Falls from the brink, where swirling mist and the immense scale of the Falls create a breathtaking perspective.

Venture to Three Sisters Islands for a closer look at the upper Niagara River, where footbridges lead visitors alongside rushing rapids just upstream from the Falls.

For an easy way to explore more of the park, hop aboard the ADA-compliant Niagara Scenic Trolley, which connects many of the park’s popular areas and attractions. Mobility scooter rentals are also available through Sight See Rentals, located just outside of Niagara Falls State Park.

Beyond the brink of the Falls, the Niagara Falls State Park trail system leads visitors into the dramatic landscapes of the Niagara Gorge. Explore the Schoellkopf Power Plant ruins, where the remains of one of the world’s largest hydroelectric power stations offer a glimpse into the history of power generation along the Niagara River.
